Bespoke joinery for Cubitts' iconic new store
Cubitts is an independent British spectacles company whose modernist designs are traditionally handmade and designed to reflect the wearer's personality. Working in partnership with interior designers Child Studio we were commissioned to produce a range of bespoke joinery for their iconic new store in Belgravia.
Our joinery team began by making the shelving from the hardwood Sapele, and treating it with linseed oil for a dark, impactful backdrop to the spectacles. The shelves were designed to be edged with brass and LED lit to highlight their products.
The sleek clean lines of the bespoke point of sale desk was finished in stainless steel and burl veneer to create a focal point and reflect Cubitts principles of craftsmanship and longevity.
